Hay preguntas estándar que te harán en una entrevista en inglés.

Pregunta 1: ¿Cuáles son tus puntos fuertes y tus puntos débiles?

Puntos Fuertes: Es fácil de contestar. Soy muy organizado, trabajo bien en equipo, etc.

Puntos débiles:

Mala respuesta: Me cuesta llegar a la oficina a la hora correcta por los mañanas. ¡¡NO!!

¡No digas tus debilidades! Hay que decir algo positivo, disimulándolo como algo negativo.

Por ejemplo: cuando tengo un objetivo, a veces estoy demasiado enfocado en llegar a conseguirlo sí o sí.

Pregunta 2: ¿Dónde te ves en 5 años?

Mala respuesta: Haciendo el trabajo que tú estás haciendo ahora. ¡¡¡No!!!: ¿Quién va a contratar a alguien que va a quitarle su puesto?

Y, ¿no es prepotente y poco realista que vas a subir tanto en 5 años?

Otra mala respuesta: En casa cuidando de mi familia. ¡¡NO!! Queremos a alguien que va a estar implicado con la empresa.

Respuesta correcta: una vez haya aprendido como es la empresa, me veo con una posición de responsabilidad, haciendo tareas que sean un reto.

Pregunta 3: ¿Por qué quieres cambiar tu trabajo?

NUNCA hables mal de tu jefe o compañeros actuales. Si eres negativo sobre ellos, ¿por qué voy a contratarte para que acabes haciendo lo mismo en esta empresa?

Respuesta correcta: Estoy buscando un nuevo reto.

You have an interview in English with a multi-national. What questions will they ask you?

There are standard interview questions that you will be asked.

Question 1: What are your strengths and weaknesses? What are your strong points and weak points?

Strong points: I am very organised, I am a good team player, etc.

Weak points: Wrong answer: I find it difficult to get to the office on time. NO!! Say a strong point but pretend it’s a weak point.

For example: I sometimes focus too much on reaching the objective.

Question 2: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Wrong Answer: Sitting in your seat.

No!!!: Who is going to hire you if you want to take his place? And, it sounds arrogant that you will get promoted to such a high position in just 5 years…

Another wrong answer: At home, minding my family. NO!! We want someone who will be dedicated to the Company.

Correct answer: Once I learn how the business works, in a position of responsibility completing challenging tasks.

Question 3: Why do you want to change your job?

NEVER speak badly about your current boss/colleagues.

IF you are negative about your current boss/colleagues, won’t you do the same here?

Correct answer: I am looking for a new challenge.
